Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ10 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday. San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Zac did us well tonight. We had a slight misunderstanding, but he listened to us and made sure everything was made right. Iβm a big fan of clam linguine and itβs fantastic here. There Ceasar is one of the best Iβve ever had. Zac was great, the atmosphere is really nice and be sure to notice the glassware. So nice!

Had a great experience here. The food was delicious and the service was excellent as well. Really enjoyed the King Salmon entree, but also the fish and chips was phenomenal as well and probably the best value on the menu. I didn't try any of the cocktails but watching the bar service while we dined makes me think that this would be a great spot to go for a drink as well.

Amazing food, one of the freshest seafood restaurants in San Diego imo. Friendly service & good casual ambience. Our server, Ian, was kind and attentive. All the dishes we tried were really good β fish was fresh & prepared nicely. We had the salmon tartare, albacore tataki, crab cake, shrimp & scallop stuffed squash blossoms & got swordfish with the gnocchi as mains. Cocktail options were unique - Sea & Spice - that had a lobster oil!! NA drink (Solaris) didnβt feel worth the $17 price to me. Recommend reservations during the weekend. Street parking available but slightly harder to find

Love that they are Seed Oil Free! Our friends came from Houston, TX and they always enjoy the food and visit to Fishery. Clam Chowder filled with clams and properly thick. Recommend the Chowda-Fries - super surprise and filling. Perfectly cooked fries covered with Chowder! Amazing and delish invention! Fish and Chips are crispy with those delish fries. Our table also had the Tuna Melt - again super chef-ing! As well as the Swordfish Tacos - grilled to perfection. The service was on-point with just enough attention and thorough knowledge of the menu and preparations. The cold breeze had us inside where the open beam ceiling is a noise disadvantage, but it is great to see the fresh fish market. Parking is also a mess - but "it's PB!" as the saying goes! L)

The Fishery is a top notch, full service seafood restaurant. The fact that they are also a local seafood wholesaler means that they have the pick of the best and freshest seafood. While it is casual in decor, it is serious culinarily about highlighting the seafood with excellent flavors. Service is polished but not stuffy and the kitchen is fast, which is highly unusual these days. Lucy was managing while we were there and she ran a well orchestrated team. Itβs a top San Diego restaurant indeed.
